This was an incredible experience for me. Right down in the pit as Wayne comes out and every thing goes absolutely bonkers. I normally shoot shows in manual mode, getting a feel for the lights and working calmly. Not this show. It was nuts. I went Aperture priority and just concentrated on framing and focusing and shooting as fast as I could. I must have shot a couple of hundred frames in the 10 minutes the opening madness lasted (before I was escorted away so the next batch of shooters could come in). I probably could have had 5 Lips shots in my top 20 if I wanted. Amazing.
